SEUGNET MARAIS
FOUNDER & CEO
Mrs. Marais has almost 20 years of experience in her field, starting as a social worker for the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Wandsworth. Between 2004 and 2021, she moved up from a social worker position to become a Consultant Social Worker and Play Therapist, followed by a Team Manager, and finally Deputy Service Manager. Her focus over time shifted from working with children to providing intensive and holistic support to families with multiple and complex needs. From 2016, Seugnet also served as a Trainee Family Therapist and completed two placements, one in CAMHS (Child and Adult Mental Health Service) and another in Adult Psychiatric Service.
More recently, Seugnet moved with her family to the US and has become a Sleep and Well-being Specialist and psychotherapist. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work Degree, a Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Practice Based Play Therapy, a Social Work Practice Teacher certification, and a Masters in Systemic Psychotherapy Degree, along with another 30+ certifications in related topics.
